CLICsgiving 2024 Wrap-up

We’d like to thank everyone who supported CLICsgiving 2024 and our goal of expanding childhood cancer research. We are grateful to all who provided monetary donations, spread our messages, and followed us on LinkedIn.

For the last two months, we have highlighted some of our prospective projects and partnerships in different regions of the world. We are proud to develop childhood cancer research in low- and middle- income countries and in areas with underrepresented populations. Additionally, in 2024, the CLIC Foundation used funds to help our current partners transfer data to our Data Coordination Center at the International Agency for Research on Cancer. We published two articles in 2024 on projects led by Drs. Catherine Metayer and Joseph Wiemels, and Philip Lupo and Michael Scheurer

Next year, we hope to meet in Taiwan for the 2025 CLIC Scientific Meeting, analyze the genomics data we pooled for the CLIC Genomics Project, and share more of our childhood cancer research with our community. Your donations will help us learn more about why kids get cancer and hopefully influence cancer prevention and treatment around the world. Thank you so much!

Wishing everyone a very warm and healthy 2025!
